Becky my Midwife

I had my first appointment today and got to hear my babies heart beat for the first time as well. :0) Everything is good! I love my midwife, she is so great! She gave me so much information today I don't know if I will be able to remember it all. She helped me get over the things I feared the most and gave me some pointers on how to try to prevent it. The best thing about the whole visit today though was the fact that Dave is feeling a ton better about me being pregnant. He said that he just might be willing to have another one after this cause he thinks it is going to be a lot better experience then before. I am so excited that he is excited. Not that I am planning to have any more kids after this, if it's a girl we plan to stop for sure but if it is a boy we will talk. Even though we got to hear the heart beat it still seems crazy that I am pregnant with our third child. I thought it would make it sink in a little more but it didn't. I guess I am going to have to wait a couple more months when I start to feel the baby move, then there will be no way to deny it. lol. I am SO excited to meet my little one for the first time! I have a lot of other things to look forward to before that day comes though. I get to feel the baby move (the best thing ever), I get to see it's little picture inside my belly and hopefully find out what it is (girl/boy), decorating the new room, there is just so many things to look forward to it's hard to live in the today right now. :0)
